Anti-Avril Lavigne, but why?
0k, have you heard of her Yet? The new "Teen Pop-Slayer", or "Punk Rock Princess", o yeah she is like..so totally punk rawk! She is like, so bad-ass, i mean come on....anyone who wears a tie and dickies, has to be punk rawk! Sorry to break it to you, but Avril is the exact opposite of "punk rawk"...and here's why:
-Avril claims, i will put her words into exact words for you, ""Even before i knew what, like, a record was, i knew i was going to make one", she says as she chews her gum, in a 90210 way (as said by nick duerden, Blender), "I guess you would say i was always the canter of attention", I'm not into the glass and glamour. Its like soo fake. But my first single ["complicated"] is all over MTV, so im being recognized already. That probaly means goodbye to my private life, but hey, it's cool. If anybody tries to kiss my butt," she says sweetly, "I'll tell them shut the hell up!"
*ok does she belong on MTV or what? She is exactly what they are looking for, she is fake, but because she is "punk rawk" she is noticed...this cracks me up, because there are so so many punk bands, they obviously do it because they love the scene, and the music, because they get shitty publisity, only POP stars get noticed, so obviously Avril is POP...she defines it, but not only is she a short Britney Spears, she is a damn poser! She is always saying, she's a "rock star", she's a "drop-out", she gets in fights, hates the police, she's a "sk8ter punk"...ok, she is none of these. "punkers" (aka: people against peo. like Avril, and they love punk music...and actually understand it) don't go around claiming, they are punk, or that they beat peo. up, or they are high school delinquents, or claim they are a "tough-as-nail skater", i mean come on dammit, see the light!
